This research is aimed to find out the obstacles that cause the implementation of Gerbang Salam is not optimal and how to make a formulation for optimizing this movement. This research is focused more on the theory of functionalism in the perspective of Talcott Person and Robert K. Merton. From Parson will be taken the theory of AGIL (adaptation, goal attainment, integration, and latent). And from Robert K. Merton will be taken theory of a thought of functions, dysfunctions, manifest functions and latent functions.Through AGIL analysis is known that the social system built on Islamic values has lost its balance. That is because these parts have experienced the dysfunctions, especially in the function of goal attainment and integration. So that the implementation of Gerbang Salam does not work optimally.

This research based article is trying to describe the teaching and learning management in the Excellent Class of STAIN Pamekasan. There are 4 focuses of this research, they are: (1) why does STAIN Pamekasan apply the credit system of extracurricular? (2) How is the application of the credit system of extracurricular? (3) What are the academic advising lecturerâs roles in the credit system of extracurricular in STAIN Pamekasan? (4) How are the organization of university studentsâ roles in the credit system of extracurricular to the activity of students of STAIN Pamekasan? The purpose of this study is to describe and explain about: (1) the reasons of the application of credit system of extracurricular, (2) the ways how the credit system is applied in STAIN Pamekasan, (3) the academic advising lecturersâ role in applying the credit system of extracurricular in STAIN Pamekasan, (4) the roles of studentsâ organization in credit system of extracurricular to the studentsâ of STAIN Pamekasan activity.

This study is trying to find a solution to the problem the researcher found in her preliminary study about reading for understanding. SQ3R is an abbreviation of Survey, Question, Read, Recite dan Review. This technique can increase the studentsâ involvement on the text they read. This technique also helps to form information in the studentsâ mind and make it meaningful. This research is a kind of quantitaive research to find the effect of implementation of SQ3R in reading for understanding. The treatment is given after gathering the data that both classes are homogenous. After analyzing the post test result, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect on the implementation of SQ3R on the studentsâ undertanding. It is supported by the data from the questionannaire which show the studentsâ respond on the implememtation of SQ3R in reading for understanding an Islamic text written in English.

This writing is analyzing the legitimacy of political party in retiring its member who still becomes the member of the representative of legislative council (DPR/ DPRD) and these representatives are chosen by the legislative general election openly and proportionally conducted by the nation. Openly proportional system is understood as the model of peopleâs sovereignty. It happens when the candidates are most voted as the member of representative of legislative council. Openly proportional system is done by displaying the political parties as the members of general election and then they propose some candidates of legislative members to be chosen directly by Indonesian people. The most voted representatives will be chosen as the member of legislative council (DPR/ DPRD). When there is a party retires their own representative, do they have their own legalization and is it contradictory with the concept of Indonesian peopleâs sovereignty? This writing is using juridical normative method by analyzing some constitutions; they are general election constitution, political party constitution, and constitution of MD3. According to the constitution, retirement by the political party has already have its own legitimacy because the constitution gives the authority, but the retirement is contradictory with the spirit of peopleâs sovereignty because the people have the absolute right of their own vote.

The result of Monitoring and Evaluation on the implementation of 2013 curriculum in the level of Junior High School in the year of 2014 showed that one of the teachersâ difficulties in implementing the 2013 curriculum is the implementing Evaluation. Related to this problem, the government has done many revisions on the Evaluation part, the last revision done by the Educational and Cultural Department is the emergence of the Provision of the Educational and Cultural Department No.53 year 2015. The provisions in the Educational and Cultural Department is started to be implemented in the Even Semester year academic 2015/ 2016 in all educational levels which implement the 2013 curriculum, including the State Junior High School 1 (SMPN 1) Pamekasan. Therefore, the researcher is interested to know how far the implementation of the English Evaluation of 2013 curriculum in SMPN 1 Pamekasan based on the constitution of Educational and Cultural Department No.53 year 2015. The result of this research is, first the implementation of English Evaluation based on the Constitution of Educational and Cultural Department No.53 year 2015 has not been done correctly. Second, the teachers found some difficulties in evaluating the studentsâ English work based on the Constitution of Educational and Cultural Department No.53 year 2015, they are 1) many indicators in behavioral evaluation that needs to be analyzed deeper, they are being polite, discipline, self confidence, and cooperation, 2) in formulating the grid of skill aspect, especially in formulating the evaluation suitable with the skill that is needed to be evaluated, 3) in the project evaluation technique and portfolio evaluation technique.

K.H. Abdul Hamid in the Tarjuman Kitab states that Moral Education (Tengka) is an education concept of the effort to grow the awareness of the students (santri) to make them a better person in the world and the life after. This concept is putting forward the ethics (Akhlaq) than the intellectual development. There are some points in emphasizing Moral Education (Tengka) of K.H. Abdul Hamid in the Tarjuman Kitab. First, this education concept using philosophical-anthropological paradigm. Here it states that human being is Abdul Allah (hamba) and Khalifah Allah (the substitutes in the world). In this book, there are many explanation about Ethics related to the relationship to Allah and relationship with human beings. Islam itself has set how they should keep their attitude well which will be useful for himself and his environment including for others. Secondly, this education is stressed more on internalizing the awareness of Tauhid to every student (santri) in the pesantren or school to make them know the pure characteristic of human being. The third, Moral Education (tengka) of K.H. Abdul hamid in the Tarjuman Kitab is obviously implemented in Pondok Pesantren Banyuanyar Pamekasan Madura. Fourth, Moral Education (tengka) K.H Abdul Hamid in the Tarjuman Kitab is still suitable with the Character based Education which is developed in Indonesia.

Character based education values of teacher and students from the perspective of the history of Moses and the prophet of Khidir in the Al-Qurâan Al- Kahfi verse 60-82 can be concluded that it is better for someone who wants to study to deliver their intention politely, with a strong determination and patience.  The students should always respect the teachers and say sorry in advance if they do something wrong. Teachers should try as good as possible to explain the material so that the students understand the purpose and the intention of the subject. The message of this history is that studying has nothing to do with age, whether they are old or young. A student needs to come to the core of knowledge although it takes time and a distance. When the teaching and learning process, a student is not allowed to cut the teacherâs speech, even they have to keep their attitude to get the teacherâs willingness.

A lecturer is a very important element in the education world. There are many components that influence the islamic education teaching learning process, one of which is ?the method of Religious Education?. Nowadays, the method of Islamic Education is still using the old method such as giving speech, memorizing and demonstrating worship practices which look very empty. It is obvious that this kind of method makes the students bored, tired and unmotivated in learning Religion. Alternatively, to increase the quality of education, teacher can apply the PAIKEM strategy (active, inovative, creative, effective, and happy learning) in the Islamic Education teaching learning process. It is expected through PAIKEM strategy, the teacher and students become more active and creative in the process of teaching and learning. The conclusion of this research is the application of PAIKEM strategy can increase the Islamic Education teaching learning process in SMK Sumber Bunga Situbondo from the process of planning, acting, and evaluating. Factors that support the application of PAIKEM strategy are the teachers? ability in applying PAIKEM and the students? readiness in studying. The weaknesses of the application of PAIKEM strategy are the infrastructure, environment and the time allocation.
